Are these available to buy separately from the matrix or do I, as the local motor factors say, have to get the matrix complete.
I've just been reading Alans "heater matrix guide" and a post from Spox seems to suggest they are available.... any ideas where from?

You mean the little valve thing by the side of the battery that gets broken very easily.

I can't rememebr what I paid but it wasn't much. It came from the fiat delaership if I recall too. I'll ask have a look in its file and see where the recipt came from. dead easy to fit too as you don't need to take the heater out.

Well thats another one sorted. Cheers Allen for getting me thinking about adjustment. Turns out the valve itself is fine, a little stiff but still operational. T'was the cable causing the problem. Can they stretch??? ...anyways after setting the valve to open and lever to hot and retightening, all seems good. Well, I've got hot air to the cabin... now all I need is a whacking great sign that says "Do not touch this switch till summer"

Come summer, just use the air intake instead of the temp control, it seemed to do just as good a job when we had the same problem in the 750L (y)
