Hi all!

Just putting the finishing touches to my Engine before I put it back together and just need help on this.

The Coolant dizzy pipe is new from Fiat. It just has a rubber o-ring set between two flanges and a metal bracket half-way down the pipe. How does this attach to the water pump housing
Does it just push in??

Cheers peeps

p.s.
The welding is finished!! Filling & Sanding left, then my bare shell is off to the body shop :slayer:

Yes.

The bracket bolted to the block secures it.

The one I fitted didn't quite line up, it had either been bent a bit in transit, or not made to spec.

Just to confirm what the others have said. It just pushes in and the welded flange holds it in place.:)

Try to avoid silicone spray on older cars if possible. Many of the gaskets, seals, etc. are natural rubber or nitrile and can be adversly affected by silicone.
A squirt of WD40 will do the trick (y)
