Hi, at the beginning let me tell sth about me - i'm writing from Poland (central Europe ;) ), i'm the owner of fiat126 (have ever heard of such a model??) which engine is very similar to the first panda engine (however panda's engine is stronger - it has 30HP instead of 24HP in 126) . As far as i'm concerned, the only differences are: cylinder head with carburator and exhaust system (in 126 engine is placed at the rear of car!). A friend of mine bought panda's cylinder head & carb and some time ago he (we) installed it into his car!! Currently there is quite a big problem with inlet system (delivering air from the air filter to the carb). Do you have any pictures/fotos whatever of this engine which could help me ??? Thx in advance :)

Hello im a fellow new person I dont think anybody will be able to help you much here as the Panda 30 was never sold in this country.

Hi, I remember a few years back someone put a Panda 30 head onto a 126 and he had to do a lot of modifications to it. Thing is as you have the head and carb from the Panda, then surely the problem will be with that, not the fact its on a 126? Sorry cant help, but good to hear from Poland, I have a 126!

Hi

The engine in a Fiat Panda 30, runs the other way, than the 126 model. The cylinder-head have two inlet, and two bigger exhaust outlet, + the valves are 2 mm bigger on inlet, and 1 mm bigger on outlet. But you can take the hole head, carburator, and put it on your 126 model. This will give you more output, and torgue in your engine. aprox 3 hp more, bechause there are also a faster cam in the Panda, not much but, a bit more.

Hope this is helpful!
