Hi Peeps

There are three products in my head which I think is good to give an absolute final clean of bare metal before etch primming.
is it;
Isopropyl Alcohol,
Pure Acetone or
Cellulose Thinners

Yep, panel wipes. You can get 5 wipes in halfords for £2 which is what i did. I believe they're 'turps'?

no panel wipe in the trade is what is in the tin above not wet wipes

Of the chemicals I've listed which completely evaporates with NO residue??

the one in my photo its only about 15 quid for 5ltr. not sure on smaller amounts, i will tell you in about an hour if they do one

You should be using some sort of proper panel wipe before painting. Isopropyl Alcohol is meant to leave no residue and should be good for removing any oil etc left on the paint but for the best prep use panel wipes

was no smaller cans, but if you coming to mitcar and can wait i'll bring you a bit of mine
