A couple days ago, I lost one of my doorlocks.. (right, it just fell out, without any 'help'!) so I went to a scrapyard today to search for a Fiat Panda doorlock.. Unfortunately they didn't have one there. However, they did have a Seat Marbella sitting there, so I compared the locks of the Marbella with that of my Panda, and they turned out to be basically the same. The only difference was that the Marbella locks come with a handle. Fitting the Marbella locks was easy.. only one extra hole needed to be drilled to fit the handle. So now I've got the added luxury of a doorhandle on my Panda for only 10 euros! (about 6 pounds)

Yes, I know it adds considerable weight, and it produces a lot of extra drag.. I'm pretty sure it will just destroy my gas milage as well but just think about the luxury of actually having a door handle! isn't that worth the sacrifice?
