Having transplanted the CLs seats into my CLX, and used it for a few days I was a bit disappointed in the feel of the seat base - and initially put it down to the change from the Y10 seats which were in previously.
Then I drove the newer CLX again, and decided something was adrift somewhere.
We had one odd CLX seat left-over, and during the tidy up to make space for all the donor parts I decided to remove the covers and throw the damaged frame*.

There are 6 staps under a CLX seat:
2 going front to back
4 going side to side.

These CL seats only had 3 side to side - the back one is missing (both front seats, with no marks in the foam to suggest there had ever been any) - as the frame is the same, and the mounting points are present, I've fitted a couple of these salvaged straps... and there is an improvement :):)

Oh, yes - while we're here, the head rests:
they're held on with a pair of spring clips, which look like you have no choice but to peel the back cover up to access them.
The covers clip into the seat base, undoing you'd need to do the back first, as it clips over the back edge of the base clip.

On the washer front, ISTR there was a query a while ago about the non-return valve for the rear washer:
where is it??

It's accessed by removing the rear internal side trim panel on the UK passenger side.
Take care if you try and separate the pipe-work here, as there is a small spring and ball bearing in the valve (which I managed to lose[)])

* the frame is a nice design - quite minimalist, in a weight saving sort of way.

I'm pleased about that - as I hadn't heard anything I wondered if you weren't pleased with them, or if you'd come to grief on the M6[:0]

gosh no, i truly love them!! They will make my long trip in august much nicer :) thankyoo! I have been quiet recently though because the seats motivated me to fit some extras onto my car.. it looks erm.. kinda like a park ranger 4x4 now ;) (pics to come later)
