That if you don't drive your Panda that much the brakes will start to rot / rust?

Yes, the discs will get some surface rust on them because they are made of steel. Not normally a problem though, a short drive will clean all the rust off and they'll be shiney again. It needs to stand for a very long time for the discs to get so rusty they need replaced.

Yeah, indeed with any car with disc brakes. If you look at a brake disc that's not been used for a couple of days there'll be a very small amount of rust on it. A week, even more, two weeks, so much they'll grumble with the first few presses of the pedal.

It's by no means a bad thing, however, but brake discs last longest on cars that get used daily, whereas if you use a car, say, every two weeks then the life is reduced quite a lot.

Ditto. The 750L which has been sitting since Sept and used occasionally, has hand break off, and is moved every few weeks to stop the fairly new tyres from getting flat spots.

Railway lines rust to when they aren't used for a while creating track circuit problems
