Just been to Bridges scrappy in Pease Pottage, Surrey I think, and they've got a M plate 1000 Colour. I've got myself a few bits and am down near there again at the end of the week so thought I'd see if anyone needs any bits which I can get for you a post on because I know how hard its getting to find any decent Panda's in scrappys.

Its still got the ECU (and a emergency fuel cut off switch by the passenger door, never seen one before), it also has twin sunroof but I think it leaks as the doors to the car and windows were shut but there was water in the footwell.

Most parts are there except the following which I took for our fleet of Panda's;

• Door mirrors
• Door locks
• Aerial (were no front speakers)
• and a few small trim bits.

Now next question. I found a new Part still in a Fiat bag in the back! It's a cable of some sort, but not sure what it is. I've got the part number and am trying to find it out on Eper but am not having much sucess so far so if anyone could help its 7762011.

Thanks for the offer. . . could have done with an aerial as I broke Mandapanda's traction kiting (long story).

Confirm, this clutch cable is for models having servo assist on their brakes.

No good to us then. The only Panda with servo assist brakes is the Selecta. Will put in the classifieds, and then ebay eventually if it dosent go through there.

I thing most (or all) Pandas from 1993 have got brakes with servo assist (I had L reg Panda Parade with servo...) but Selecta has different front cylinders and bigger discs...
Anyway - there shouldn't be any differents for cluch cable (with or without servo)

Hi Charlotte, I'm parchally colour blind, but it looked a greyish greenish colour, deffinatly isn't black like most! It had a slight crack/grap at the 12 o'clock position on the steering wheel though where the metal continued but the plastic coating stops. Reminded me a little of thet tape at the top the the steering wheel when learning to drive (might have been just my instructor, lol).

I'll see if it fits the 1000CL then because that needs a new clutch cable. But it might be different because Panda's with servo assist brakes have the servo on the bulk head on the side that the gear box is (passenger side).

I need a gator for my gear stick and a cover for the curtosy light. also a parcel shelf....oh and the rubber seal that goes round the drivers side window.......hin that is it lol.

Think you might as well strip it bare lol. could make yourself a few pennies.

Fiat began to introduce servo assist on the brakes of the 4x2's in 1991 ( the 4x4's already had these ) and by 1993 most, if not all, Panda's had a servo.

With the introduction of the servo, it was found that the standard clutch cable was too long and fouled on the servo body.

A shorter cable was then issued to correct this problem and it is one of these cables that Jon has, as new, in its bag. This is the correct cable for the car in which it was found, though there should be no reason why it could not be used on a non-servo vehicle.

I wish that I live so far...I would take all gear knob with tunel and all cables (new type) as I'm thinking to put manual gearbox into my Selecta 1.1...

Is there speedo instruments (speedo with temp.gauge)?? Do you know how much they want for this and how much it would cost for P&P to York?

Pandafan - One multi coloured switch bank. It did have one in, but the headlight switch had the bumpy bit missing and only had the two white pins showing (you'll know what I mean if you've fiddled with headlight switches so that they fall apart), but if you take the bumpy bit off your current or a broken switch it will be perfectly usable. How much are you willing to pay? Wouldn't have thought they'd want more than a few quid as they're rather reasonable, and postage would be similar I would have thought.

Flossyfly - gator for gear stick, this is ripped so I recall unfortunally, the cover for the curtosy light I can pocket for you, and there is no parcel shelf unfortunatlly as I need a spare, but I can get the the rubber seal that goes round the drivers side window for you. Again I wouldn't have thought it would be more than a few pounds, and same for postage.

Jangcy - gear knob with tunel and all cables, might be a little hard to remove but will have a look for you but don't know how much they'll charge. Have you got a max price in mind? As far as speedo instruments (speedo with temp.gauge) goes, its one of the multi coloured things which I think looks awful, but I have got a normal one from our 750L that were scrapping if you want that. It hasn't got any of the bulbs, but you can have it for nout if you cover postage. (its got 89511 miles on the clock), but it won't suit a fuel injection model as it hasn't got a fuel injection warning lamp, but if you want I can find out about the one in the scrappy which has got a fuel injection lamp. Have you got a price in mind for that?

Just to confirm for everyone. I'm not trying to make money out of this, I'm doing it as one Panda owner to another, but don't of course want to be out of pocket. So if you could reply on this thread or PM me the max you want to pay for anything (plus P+P), and then if they want more than your max for the item I won't be paying for it and left out of pocket myself. But as already mentioned they are fairly reasonable with their prices.

Don't worry about gear knob with tunel....I hope that I will find it somewhere close sometimes...it's too complicated and postage could be to expensive ...
but I'm interesting in speedo (not that colourful:yuck but that normal for non-injection engines...(I hope that there is engine temp. gauge )Just let me how much it will be and how can I pay (Paypal/cheque...?)
