Mod Chips on Ebay

has anyone seen the mods for sale on ebay, some bloke is selling resistors that are fitted into the air intake sensor in an attempt to give the engine an extra 19 bhp.

I orded one out of interest because they were cheap, must say I was a bit disapointed when it arrived, i could have bought it from maplin for about 50p!
I havent fitted it and I'm very dubious about doing so.

anyway, here's the link:

Don´t you ever read other posts[}:)]? just about every forum warns you to stay away from those[:0]. it can and probably will damage your ECU and it makes no difference for power.:D

the question is whether it´s fuel injected or not. carburettors don´t use intake sensors but fuel injection systems do. So it really depends on what you mean.:)
