Hi to all Pandist,
Now it is time to install temperature gauge in Panda Classic 1.1 MPI, CF3 produced 2003., which came from factory without that beautiful gadget. Believe you or not, that variant of Panda is equipped only with warning light for temp overheating, but that is too late for some things.....
For start, I bring one complete, dashboard on local scrap yard (50 EUR), non-negotiable discount available? Dashboard from Panda Classic, produced 1987, of old glass design, later (2000) changed due to reflection problem.
Then I disassemble Temp Indicator as shown below, but - more and more questions arise????????
Did anyone know, details about temp sensor, placed in this type of MPI engine. Sensor with NTC resistor, or sensor with on/off function only?
That secrete will explain is this possible to fit temp. gauge in existing dashboard, without changing anything else, or, in other case, there is lot of jobs to do.
Any idea or experience, will be appreciated,
aca
