Well Willie has let me down this year :( it's normally just the No plate light faulty, but not this year

List as follows:-
1. The little bit of metal that holds the front brake pipe onto the shock was missing
2. The Handbrake didn't have enough braking effort :eek:
3. The exhaust bracket that attaches to the rear vallance had broken off leaving two holes (prob during the rough roads in Romania) so had to be welded back on :eek::eek:
4. MOT issued for another year (y)(y)(y)(y)

Can't be bad for 20,000 miles in an 18 yr old car :D

In the scheme of things overall what needed repaired was f*** all, there's never really been any rust issues cause as soon as I notice anything thats not perfect get it done asap, the only reason for the rear vallance was the exhaust bracket which is attached/welded to the vallance from the factory.

When the G/box is replaced it will probably be the best it's ever been, looking forward to getting it replaced to see/hear the difference.

The brakes turned out to be a stuck cylinder so all sorted in the end :D

:D
Yes, Number plate light bulbs last 13 months.

Where do you get your bulbs from? I drive with my lights on all the time (and I mean all the time, even on the brightest of days), and haven't yet had a number plate bulb go [Sod's law is that I've now talked it up but there we go. lol.]

Found it funny. Talking of MOT's, my friend took his 52 reg rover 45 in today, passed with flying colours, went to drive it back from the garage and the thing wouldn't start:mad:, said to him he ought to get a Panda, and he smiled:). I thought it was so funny, but then the thing started up. lol.
