Wee Gems resto yesterday. But I'm going to take it easy with this one as I put myself under to much pressure to get the 127 finished. So updates will be on my site, you just need to keep checking. "Of course that's if anyones interested in seeing how I get on" :D

great to see you cracking on with my old mate juppy:) just to fill you in on the name juppy, when i got the car i called it juppy (because of the reg jpy) i later wrote to the former keepers and got a reply from the first owner who owned him for many years i didnt tell her i had named him but imagine my surprise when in her letter she said "im glad to hear you have my old car jippy" well i only got one letter wrong but i think juppy is better than jippy not sure if its same nationwide but round here "jip" means trouble or stress eg "cars giving me jip this morning it wont start" well juppy never did that to me:p the first owner then sold (or gave) it to her son who ran it into the ground crashed it then one morning got in turned the key and boom!!! it burst into flames:( the car was a write off but that was good for me i spotted him at the side of the road with flat tyres so i put a note under the wiper and £60 later he was mine! i towed him home on the day of princess Dianas funeral. the man i sold him to Dave kept the name juppy he was a panda nut too and only sold him (back to me) when he want to live in florida.
did jim give you the letter i recived from the former keepers? it was in the history folder.

"There's a history file"

Our Jim hasn't gave half the car let alone a history file :D and Lord knows were the log book is!!!

In fairness to him, as he's said above, he's had a few problems the last few weeks so I'm letting him off.

But thank you Alan for the insite on Juppy. I've known him as Juppy for so long now the name has to stay with him.

Looks like I'm going to be puting 2 Pandas back on the road at the same time so I better watch I don't mix the bits up:D

Now about that history file,,,"JIM",,,,"JIM", "come back here"

Stu, I always seen you as a bit of a top;)

Anyway, I've the Flying Bannana packed with stuff and I'll see you later....

Jim

Well... Stu got all his bits tonight to make juppy watertight and as soon as the 127 has left the garage juppy is going inside.

But we need some interior trim.... Anyone got the gray vinyl from the dash and doors from a early 90's 750 as juppy got the seats from one and we need the matching trim?

Jim

hi its not Alen its Richard but i will let you off as you must have all on remembering the names of all your cars as it is:p

i have a photo somewhere from the first show juppy went to it was at donnington race track and i think it was 1999/2000 ill try and find it and post it up, also got a pic of him when i got him with a black bonnet that had a picture of a tazmanian devil on it nice:eek:

the history file had copies of all the v5s and letters from former keepers it also had a copy of an auto trader ad when he was for sale in the eary 1990s for i think about £2500!

Sorry Richard, I've no idea were I got Allen from.

Jim assures me he has Juppys file ok. it's along with Sylvias so alls ok. And I'll of course be keeping an online file of Juppys progress as well a Wee gems on my site to.
In fact if I can get the door cards and gey dash bits sorted I could have juppy up and running in the next few weeks.(y)

Wee Gem might take a year longer though.(n)
