Hello everyone!

I've just joined this forum and was hoping some kind sole out there could help answer the questions below regarding the Panda Sisley 4x4.

Some of you may have noticed the grey Sisley on Ebay at the moment, if not, go have a look and see what you think.
I must admit, I'm interested in it myself but I have some concerns as to its authenticity.

My questions are as follows:

1. There is no raised bonnet grille, should it have one?

2. There is a photo of the dash instrument dials and they appear to be the same as a standard Panda [didn't the Sisley have different dials? [do you think this one on ebay has had a new speedo unit at some time, hence the standard dial & possibly the low milage?]

3. Looking at the interior pictures, there dosen't seem to be an instruction plate for the 4x4 controls, did they all come with this plate attached to the floor carpet, near to the gear stick?

Thank you all!

It cannot be a Sisely ... as you suspect my friend.
It must have a floor-plate, a speedo with a canoe and laural leaves on and ...
... well, so much else is wrong ! :)

It may be a MK1 Sisley.

My Sisley (Jun./1988) is like this too.

Other diferences is the seat belts they don't have write on it Sisley 4x4.

TRUST ME !
It is not a Siseley ...
...which bit of this statement don't you understand ?
The dash is wrong, the seatbelts are wrong, the ...
... it's just WRONG !
dammit !

My it's a MK1 Sisley, i dont now if FIAT sold then in UK, here in Portugal all sisley from 88 to 89 are the MK1. (y)

Thanks for all your comments - very interesting. Doesn't seem to be a definitive answer though.
I was thinking along the same lines as gaz_wrexham: Doesn't It have to many Sisley parts to be a fake?
All the seats are Sisley, also, Sisley plastic trim along the sides of the bodywork. Maybe the UK 1988 model was lacking the Sisley dials & seat belts of later models?
Anybody in the UK own a 1988 Sisley?

:D

Yes my friend I own five sisley's:slayer: 2 mark I and 3 mark II . It looks legit to me and with only 34k on the clock should fetch good money on ebay dont worry I'm not bidding on it. :D

Yep I do & mine does not have the Sisley seat belts, horn centre or raised bonnet scoop. Those bits came on the later model

As Bert says, It is most likely to be one of the earlier Sisley's.

I remember this vehicle. It appeared to be a Mk1 Sisley, ( before all the goodies were added to the model )1988 in silver/grey . Its reg was E54 WAW.

It was listed on 02/11/07 from Newport Salop and sold on 11/11/07, to someone in Oxfordshire, for the unlikely sum of £1605.00.

As I recall it was a rather unremarkable example.
Rgds.
