I've given him the once over and overall he's in pretty good shape as stands, however he's pi$$ing fuel like an incontanant grannie from the tank out fuel pipe. When I removed the cover a jet of fuel 3' high shot into the air. The top of the tank where the In and out fuel pipes are held in place with a clamp is broken so the pipes are not being held firmly in place but are not leaking although I need a new tank unit to replace it as it's unsafe as it stands. I'm also supprised that he hasn't gone in flames as petrol covered all of the electrical wires.

The internal metal gear selecter lever is also broken so if anyone has a lever and cover with grub screw I would be eternally gratefull.

As said it's not bad and easilly fixed and he will look as good as when I first prepared him so don't worry those who await to find out if they have won.

If anyone has those bits can they get intouch urgently thank you.

The plastic piece from the out line is fractured or cut? and needs to be replaced so also need one of these if possible..

I'll have a look underneath dufty01's £20 buy it now doner:eek: car tomorrow, if the tank is in good condition you can have that. Is Ivor an selecta or manual? If manual you can have any bits you need as it for a good cause.(y)

Thanks for the replies a white one Damon would be perfect (y) Berg it's a selecta it's nothing to do with the tank just the fuel pipe but thank you very much for the offer. The lever will probably be a bugger to find although I think it's just the plastic piece at the top that's broken, but the last thing i want is for the new owner to have gearstick comming off in their hand

Is this the same part that cracks on the Cinq's ?

YES :) Damon thanks very much for your help once again, I've been down to the scrappies and they had a cinq in and got the parts so the fuel problem is now sorted and the injector light is going out again so must be up to pressure, I've also fitted a new Zender arial. It also needs a new n/s indicator (damaged, but think I have a spare one) the front bumper brackets are damaged on both sides so could be doing with a new bumper really. So appart from a bleeding good clean inside (it's like a kids bedroom so will take it for a vallet) MOT, service, grub screw for the selecter lever it's about sorted. Oh! one of the mudgaurds are missing so will fit a new set. Maybe best to also have the steering alignment checked but the tyres are not scrubbing so should be fine.

I'll be amazed if I get it done for Friday but hopefully the winner won't be able to collect immediately  :D
