They've not taken pics of the Pandas because they're ****e Gina. It's because they are a different and unusual sight on the streets of today....

Auto****e is a place to talk ****e about cars that fall outside the realm of popular appeal, but that have an appeal of some kind to those that care.

Auto****e may be rare, ugly, useless , beautiful, cherished, down at heel. They can be any of these things. What is common to all is that they have become somewhat marginalised (some of them even when current) and have never become cosy, instantly recognised cl*ss*cs, that people in string-back driving gloves and flat caps are likely to have picnics behind at outdoor car shows.

This makes them affordable, interesting, enjoyable modes of transport - be they mint, well worn or positively disheveled.

If you get my drift :D:D:D:D:D

I had a browse on that site - great stuff indeed. I have always liked having cars that not many people have as it makes life a bit more interesting for me and everyone else!

My last three cars have been a one owner Sierra, a Jag and now the Panda.

Who wants to drive samey Ford / Vauxhall etc cars anyway? Not me.

phew !:p
graham said i had to be diplomatic as this person knew where to find our pandas if i slagged him off !!:p
thanks for pointing out that i got totally the wrong end of the stick !
shame they didnt visit this week as we had 3 of ours lined up and a visiting 'pink'!

Hello there, I registered after the tip off a couple of months ago then forgot about this! I just want to reassure you that I did not snap your Panda's because I don't like them, it's the opposite, on auto s h i t e.com we post up pictures of cars to be celebrated (mostly) not derided! (y)

I was quite taken aback when you thanked me on the site, as I knew this world was small, but not that small! But Vin owned up to telling you.

I didn't wake the dog, I wasn't close enough so didn't even realise a dog was there.

A) Who was I supposed to ask?

B) no problem, anytime. We have cool car spotters the length & breadth of the country on autos h i t e.com. Even far flung places like the US, China, Thailand & Australia all posting up pictures of cars they see when they're out & about.

What's wrong with my choice of car? I like Italian cars & French cars! You're not a fan of Fiat Ritmos then? I have one in a garage. My first car (sadly no longer with me) was a Fiat Panda 45CL (C475 COW). Ok so I've also had a MkIII Fiesta & I've got a Renault 14 sat in the garage but I like alot of different cars. My daily drive is an Alfa 146 Ti. So almost a Fiat (but a cut above) :D

Hurrah!
No worries RIch!
Love Ritmos!
Thanks for posting the photos and not waking the dog - I was probably out on my boat! see ya next year (we'll have moree and different pandas next year:D
