how to identify engine?

hi everyone im trying to find out wat size an engine is in the car i think its either a 750 or 1000. how do i find out? is there any obvious differences? thanks very much!

The dizzy cap is normally different on the 750, screw on rather than clips and has the old style coil depending on the year but if you PM the chassis No I'll stick it through eper and it will show the variant.

They definately a had green air cleaner cover, and can you tell from the engine number ?

riteooo is the chasis number on the front on top of the grill, under the bonnet? or is that another random number

it does have the green airbox and cam cover but the dizzy has clip on cap?

That's a 750 then. It's unlikely that someone would have retro fitted the green items to a 999cc. It's a 769cc FIRE engine with 34 BHP.

hi, its a G reg, not sure what the seats where origionally but i took some blue chequed seats with the blue plastic/leather stuff on the backs put them in i neeed a dizzy tho!

can u believe the guy who gave me it said it was a 1.1!! lol o well it doesnt matter at all cause i got it for free and its just for me to drive around the farm roads with for a laugh
