Just took my panda for its MOT. Failed on two things.

Hand brake (surprise surprise) argued my way out of that fail as usual..

But it also failed on front brakes. It pulls heavily to the right when i brake. I learnt to compensate it so well by turning the wheel left while i braked I stopped noticing but it failed with a 60% difference.
I've changed the pads and checked the calipers and all seems okay but its still doing it

Any thoughts?

I would bleed the brakes as it could be air in one side of the system.

Thanks Alan. I bled the brakes and changed the pads and put a new caliper on one side. When i took it back it was still unbalanced but within tolerance so it passed

MOT time is always a worry with cars of this age. Splutter has his on 31st of this month so I can sympathise. I'm already losing sleep!

Maybe rubber brake pipe?

Glad it's passed but you should always replace the calipers etc in pairs

Yes you're right there. I'll get another new one as soon as i see a cheap one knocking around
