Hi everyone!

Been a long time since I've posted. I'm about to take my Panda out of its winter storage location but I've run in to a small problem. It would seem that the fuel pump has died during the winter.

So... with that, I need to buy a new one... problem is that with shipping being so expensive I need to make sure I buy the right one the first time!

Can someone tell me what part number I should be looking for?

I have an 88 Panda 1000 Lie (999cc)... LHD... brought over from Austria. It is fuel injected and I believe the pump is located in the tank.

So.. can someone point me in the right direction? Maybe even point me to an ebay sale so I can order directly from there.

Thanks in advance... you guys have been great help in the past so I'm sure this time will be no different!! (y)

Will-do.... when I get home this evening and can find it :D

thanks Alan.. (y)

I think some of these early injected Panda's have a fuel cut-out fitted. I think the reset is located in one of the foot wells and is easy to trip out

BTW, going to Freak out in Detriot this year Jordy?:D

Jim

There's a "magic button" ... seriously? ... you guys wouldn't be playing with my emotions would you? :D

Unfortunately all of the vehicles info is with the car so I won't be getting at it until Saturday morning. I'll looking for this mysterious button and see if I can find it.. if not I'll report the chassis code!

Freak out? ... I didn't know it was going to be happening in Detroit again this year. When's the date?? ... If I have enough notice this year I'll do my best to make it down there! (roughly a 9hr drive)

:worship: The Magic button on passenger side of Lindas car poped up for no reason car dead in road tried all the normal stuff checked then:idea: press the button and yes she was ok again:worship:

Hi everyone.. sorry it took so long for the update, I was away on training for a work.

Well I was never able to find "the magic button" ... but I was able to access the fuel pump through the service hole in the hatch area... then took a wrench and gave it a few taps and it sprung back to life. Guess it got siezed or something after being stored for so long. In any case.. thanks for your help everyone!

Jim: So you won't be at the Freak Out this year in Detroit? In that case I may wait for next year because New York is much closer for me! (y)
