Called my local dealer today to enquire about roof rivets. Apparently there are two types for the canvas roof, presumably one for the rear "clip" (a factory order) and the others for attaching the roof to the bodywork (which they had in stock).

They had one of the rivet types in stock, which are available ten at a time for 61p each + vat. The size of the rivets could not be established, sadly.

Part number is 4483777 for the 10 rivets.

Gonna send forum member alphayapps an email and see if they can do better.

I used standard 4.8 mm x 12 mm gasproof rivets. Bought them at the local hardware-store.

Thank you! Do you use these for attaching the roof to the bodywork, or the rear "clip" into the tailgate?
