I have read that the 1000cc FIRE engine is "non-interface" - the engine isnt wrecked if the timing belt breaks. Does that apply to the 750FIRE engine as well?:worship:
It's a relatively easy DIY job. The hardest part is resetting the timing afterwards. Buy a Haynes manual and have a go yourself. A belt will cost you around £10-£12 from a motor factors.
