Hi Guys,

I have a 2001 Fiat Palio 1.2 and my crankshaft pulley broke, after replacing the pulley and setting the timing (which I'm sure is right) the car started and runs fine (no funny noises or anything). But there is a very strange problem that I'm sure was not there before. When i rev the car while it is at idle it revs fine but then when the revs come down they seem to stick at a point for like 5 sec before dropping all the way down. I don't understand why it is doing this as nothing has changed Maybe one of the sensors is faulty?

Its the same engine and year

Your problem MIGHT be with the Idle control

I had a look at the post and ill try everything they suggested but my problem is not exactly the same as that post so i'm not sure if it will help but ill give it a go and see.
