Hi all!

I've decided to change (alone) the rear brakes (drum + shoe) along with wheel bearing because the original drum had the bearing embedded.

My problems started when I notice that I cannot fit in the drum (diam 228mm) because the shoes assembly seems to be a bit larger than the drum diameter. I suspect that the brake cylinder is extended somehow. There is any way to compress the brake cylinder? I have set the adjusting mechanism to minimum but without success.

Another problem is the bearing itself, after fitting the spacer (from original bearing), bearing and a washer (from original bearing too) and finally the nut, the bearing won't turn! What am I doing wrong?

Bleeded the wheel brake cylinder, re-mounted everything again and somehow I manage to mount the drum. However I did not notice the handbrake position and mounted the shoes with the handbrake on, with the minimum position for the lever and adjuster. The handbrake is working fine and the rear brakes too, by my butt standard measuring device.
