I have a fiat palio 1.2 ELX 2003 model. The injector lite is on. The mechanic at the garage checked the ECU error code and it was some thing related with radiator fan wiring. He is checked the entire and checked it again after resetting it. Same error code again and again. He put to new ECU for testing and for now no error codes. I am puzzled. Is it ECU which is not working right and there is problem some where else.

No codes with the new ECU, so it's clear the original ECU is defective....

If there is certain problem with ECU, then u must change that. ECU would cost u around INR 160028/- these days. If you can't do that, then go to your local market where cars are dismantle for dispose. There you can find out the old one near INR 4500/-. You must remember that Problem with ECU arises when after washing you start your car immediately. So, keep in mind to start the engine only after dry.

Yeah, and don't drive your Palio in the rain, the ECU might get wet....!!!
BS, the ECU is inside the car, and can't get wet, normaly...!!
