ohh right, wondered why you replied with a link to suzuki, a lot of cars are similar and i prefer the look of the sedici over the vitara but i don't know what they're like to drive/own

i think i'll go along to fiat and have a test drive, i'd consider getting one if they're any good off road, if not it's rather pointless

Sedici spare parts problem

I recently bought 2007 1.6 Sedici (petrol) and was happy until the air conditioning failed to work. The garage that sold me the car said it would get a new compressor under the warranty. That was over a month ago and they are struggling to find one anyway from FIAT or elsewhere. The car is useless as it rapidly overheats (apparently that is linked to the compressor problem). So I have no car and no sign of it being fixed. A full refund seems like my only solution - which the garage acknowledges.

Am I alone with this problem of spare parts.

Failed AC condenser shouldn't cause it to over heat. Sounds like another issue.

Parts are readily available from Fiat, just sounds like supplying dealer doesn't want to go there due to cost.
