Hi all. I just got a hold of a 1970 Spider that needs lots of help. It sat for a very long time. After working on it for several days, I've been able to get it to run.
I cleaned the carby and set the valves to .15mm, points to.018" and timing to about 5deg advanced. It starts immediately but doesn't stay running unless I hold the choke plate almost completely closed or at almost full throttle. I have taken the carby apart twice now and I don't see any problems with it. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
