Its been a long time since I've posted on the forum, and its good to be back!
Ive got an issue with my Fiat Twin Cam engine. I confess, its not on a Fiat, its on a Lancia Dedra but the fault will be fairly universal!
When in 3rd and 4th gear, the turbo will spool up fine and start boosting smoothly. After about 3 or 4 seconds of peak boost the turbo completely stalls, and it feels like someone has slammed the brakes on, it will lag for a couple of seconds then spool up again.
i have unplugged the boost pressure sensor and it although the boost is not as high it still happens.
any suggestions will be much appreciated!
