Fiat 600/750 crank pulley

I have a 1961 Fiat 600 that originally came with a 600 engine (not a D). I am installing a 1967 750 engine from another 600D. The crank pulley contains the later oil slinger system. This causes clearance issues on the rear body/engine mount panel. Can I use the early 600 pulley on the 750 eng. and not affect the oiling system? This 600 has 18k original miles, and would rather not alter the bodywork. Thanks for the forum and any help on this matter.
