Technical (Newbie) thinking to buy Fiat Cosmo with gearbox prob

It's a Fiat Cosmo 1987 camping van.
Seller reports a little noise from gear box and 3rd gear can be difficult to engage.

So would it be possible to get the box repaired or get a used one?

I guess the synchro must be having problems..

I can't find much info about this car or used parts at the usual outlets here (there is a very good and cheap one in Sweden that has parts for most cars incl. oldies).

I'm guessing Cosmo is the name of the motorhome conversion company, and that it's actually a Mk1 Fiat Ducato underneath?

Yes of course.. I had already seen Cosmo listed as separate company

I saw a gearbox for Ducato when searching.
