Technical Fiat idea 2011 - cable under foot pedal

Hi to all, I'm new on this forum. Sorry for my english, I'm from Italy. Today while I was doing some cleaning near foot pedals I noted this black cable with blue adaptopr clip hanging down above foot pedals. Someone can explain me what cable is this and if I accidentally unplugged it from somewhere?

It doesn't look original to me, but that's about as much as I can tell. I presume you can't trace it back to its origin?

Just looking at it again, it could be a DAB aerial.

It's a Fakra connector, often used for car radio aerials. Not sure if it's standard in an Idea though.

It looks like the "female" part of the connector, so it's probably on an extention lead. Usually the "male" part plugs into the radio.

Does your radio work?

Thanks for the answers guys. Yes my RADIO works properly and fine. So can I hold this cable unplugged?

I'm sure it's fine, possibly a previous owner had a DAB radio installed and just never removed the antenna.
