Hi all,

I'm new to this site so forgive me for sounding a little mechanically unintelligent.

The teeth on my flywheel ring gear have all grinded down to nearly nothing so the starter motor is now not catching onto anything, therefore the van will not start. I drive a 1997 1.4L Petrol Fiat Fiorino Van/pickup thing and need either an entirely new flywheel or just a flywheel ring gear.

Does anybody know where to buy one to fit this model or is there any other fiat models that use the same ring gear (i.e. an old Uno or Punto..?) Really really struggling for any clues right now and really don't want to scrap the van because when its running its a beauty!

I found this link to a table that talks about ring gear dimensions, which would mine be though is it the M-512 or the M-574?
