Has anyone found a solid differential that can be used in a 131 as an alternative to the origional or the 132 banjo or 132 2000 Salisbury type. What I would like is something that is about the same width with strong axles that could be converted to 4 x 98 PCD. The thought of shortening a diff tube is not a problem but axle lengths then come into play. I do not want to shorten axles. The welding on of brackets to take the trailing arms shock and spring pads is no problem. Two that spring to mind are the Toyota Hilux/Hiace and the Mazda b1600 series. Has anyone out there tried anything like this.

Ratios and LSD availability. I would much prefer the banjo type as a diff head is easier for the service crew to carry in the van and easier to change.
