Hello am Festi and i have a Fiat 128 Sport Coupe 1974 and i post a topic with car photos,and the engine is 1.1l ,i want to swap engine with 1.3 Turbo IE engine, I need you members of forum to tell me about the job i have to do to change the engine,do i have to change engine Holder or something like that,if someone of you can describe the work of this engine swap ,i would be proud of this forum. Thanks!

Hi Festi, I am currently doing this engine swap (slowly). You will need to change quite a few things.

Cambox will need to be 128 for the top engine stay.
Strengthen the engine bay.
High pressure fuel pump/s
Fuel injection return line
Surge tank will be required for fuel injection return
Bigger radiator
Cut some holes in the grill for ventilation for oil cooler and maybe intercooler
Upgrade the brakes
Might have to move the battery

I'm sure there are other things... I'll let you know in 6 months when I have done some more... or you could let me know:)

thanks for the help, i swap the engine and now i have Lancia 1300 ccm3 carb, with 65 HP. did you finish your project that you have to swap engines ?
