Hi all! A friend of mine is considering engine swap... Donor to his Ritmo 105TC could be Fiat Coupe 2.0 16V Turbo (yup, the one with 195 bhp gear box included). The question is; will engine fit under Ritmo hood (meaning on platform holes)? Since I know that there was a model of Ritmo 130TC with 2.0l engine, I suppose that it can be done...

What do You think (or know)?

Thanks!

isn't the Coupé Turbo a 5-cylinder engine???? I think you'll need a sledge hammer to make it fit :D

The Strada/Ritmo will take a Twincam with not too much hassel (which the Coupe engine is) but the Coupe motor has the reverse head on it and is inclined forward 20 degrees.

A better donar engine would be a 2.0 8v Volumex from a Lancia Beta. This will give you 185bhp with a change of cams, small about of head work, single weber DCOE on a Guy Croft manifold and will pretty much bolt straight in.

Have a look at www.guy-croft.com and check out his book for more information.

Best of luck!

Thanks a lot for info! Will try to find engine of Delta, but they were rare here, specially VX edition. :(

Any way this coupe's engine has no ECU (guy told me that it was burned), so I'm a bit of skeptic, what caused it...
