Hi all.

can anyone point me to a supplier who could get old of a set of valve springs and oil valve stem seals for a fiat twin cam 1608 ( its in the fiat 125 ).

stripped the head for skimming and might as well change the said parts whilst off....

struggling to find any one or any where to get them.

any pointers welcome..

Well after chatting to an engine guy he says the springs very rarely need chnaging so will keep them, had a good search and actually found a set of stem seals in the de-coke pack that came with the car, result....

allready removed head, removed springs n valves ( put all the bits in seperate envelopes and marked up 1 to 8 for the valves) and cleanes all the parts and poliched the valves ready to put back, head getting skimmed today then clean n port the head if i can..

One of the Lada 124/5 clones had the twin-cam 1600 engine... "Model 6" (the twin-round headlamps model) as favoured by Azerbaijani taxi drivers before they all bought Merc's.

Anyway, somewhere in a Russian parts bin.. the valve springs are still available!
