Hi all, well i have to remove the head of the fiat 1608 twin cam engine ( after been stood for 4 years tried to start it, but found gunge on the pistions) so while its of was gonna change the cam belt stuff.

anyone help in this regarding any probs or was it straight forword.

gonna line up all the timing marks and the 2 cam wheels then mark with tippex just to be sure....

was thinking of getting the head skimmed ready to take unleaded fuel, anyone done this...

Skimming the head won't help with unleaded fuel, it may need hardened inserts to cope with unleaded.

I haven't done a twink for a long time, but I seem to recall it being incredibly simple.
