Hi guys again. I was wondering if there was an easy fix to brighten up or change the bulbs in the dashboard at all. When I put my lights on at night the dashboard lights up but its very dull is there a easy fix fo this?

Daniel

¿has you any picture of your dashboard?
Depending of the model and the year it may have or not something to regulate it.

Any way if it's too old it may be convenient to change the lights cause they may be original.

See you

Is there a knob on the dash to adjust the brightness of the dashboard lights?

I have the switch on the passenger side of the steering column and its set to max. I think the globe might be original really as the car has only had 1 owner. Might talk to Fiatorque. Hopefully a quick job. They have worked on my car & also got my speedo working again. Now they have fixed that my "econo" gauge and those "electronic check" lights are playing up. The econo isnt moving off one side of the range....

am sorry guys but am trying to change my LED gauge cluster and i really don;t know how to do it,,my car is a fiat regata s85 model 1989,,,can u help me?

Glad they are better.

Its sometimes a good move to stick aluminium tape round the bulbs on the plastic of the housing (& anwhere the bulbs reflect), this reflect the light much better than the white (often dirty grey) plastic.

MAKE SURE you DONT let the ally tape touch any of the electrics though as it`ll obviously create a short!

This also works with dull lights in general (rear lights, front indicators, interior light etc).

Also if the car has the fibre optic system make sure theres the proper halogen bulb fitted in the optic base.

By the way, what oil did you use in the end Daniel? :D

My dashboard lights have now been solved the globes behind needed changing. They are slightly better now.
