who knows what a 135 is

hiya out .. heres some fun for you LOT OUT THERE who out there knows what a fiat 135 is.. it was only when i Purchase my fiat i found out what it is do you know bye DR V:devil:

it be a fiat 135 spelt wrong i reckon

I have heard of the 130, 131, 132 and 133 (Spanish jobby using 850 mechanicals), but I have never heard of a 135. Got any pics?

Type 135 is the nomenclature for the Dino Fiat. You will see this cast on all the engine parts that are peculiar to the Fiat Dino (as opposed to the engine parts on the ferrari model) like the thermostat housing etc... they will be marked Fiat 135bc xxxxxx (part number)

yes :worship: fiatfactory you know what saying Type 135 is the nomenclature for the Dino Fiat. its all over my engine & that dino engine makes a lovely sound too 3 carbs make sound like music to my ears fiatfactory DO you know if any one try to fit a fiat 130 block to dino heads or can it not work at all thanks yours DR VOLGA

Dino V6 (2.0 and 2.4) and 130 (2800 and 3200) V6 are completely different engines, with no similarity except for the number of cylinders...

I've often seen the 130 V6 refered to as "ferrari designed" but this is a total myth, it's another of Lampredi's masterpieces, completely designed from the ground up for and by Fiat...

130 V6 was based on the "128" sohc engine with one cylinder removed!!
