allright!
im a meber of this website cuz i own a mk2 punto. and was wondering if anyone might no why my mates fiesta wont start,
its a 1992 fiesta 1.3
the battery is working cuz all pf the lights ect work
we replaced the spark pugs and still nothing
and tryd jummping it of my car and nothing.
its turnign over but not kicking into life
any ideas??

checked for spark? think they have a fuel cut off switch somewhere as well.

my first bet would be either starter motor maybe, or alternator, though alternator is unlikely because the battery is holding its charge. possibility though

Is there a strong smell of petrol under the bonnet? = flooded.

Possible HT lead failure?

Fuel starvation?

Not enough fuel in tank? (sounds daft, I know. But it happens)

Does the engine sound like it usually does when it is turned over, or does it seem to turn over more easily, i.e. sounds like it's turning over quicker? = cam belt failure
