My Last Fiat

My mom and dad have got a static caravan and I've sat and watched people with tourers.

At what point do you relax?

You have got to park the thing, Un hitch it, Plug in the electricity Supply, put up one if them tent things if you have got one which also I have never understood why people have. If you want to sit in a tent why did you buy a caravan and not a tent? You have to put the legs down level it up, I presume all you plates cultelry etc have to be put away whilst towing so you have to get all them out you have to fetch the water, and empty the chemical bog

Now the static Granted you can't move it any where but you don't get the finger whilst driving you just switch the gas and water on and thats it home from home.

On the plus side though my neighbour had a CR-V for a week on a long test drive because the lease on his company Passat is up in a few months and they are very nice cars (y)

with you so far although most of the time we don't have electric. Have an awning but only use it in the winter or on long holiday.

Takes all of 10 minuets.

The stay in the cupboard that they are designed for all the time, travelling and on site so not a problem.

True but the water container hold 50lt, enough for 2 for over the weekend including showers and its a rolable barrel so not a problem and emptying the loo is not that bad we are normally all set up with a glass of wine in our hands within a hour of arriving. That includes setting up the satellite TV.

My Mum & Dad had statics for years but I much prefer the tourer

Yes they have everything in now don't they, and thats the main problem with todays tourers, they have everything in them making them heavy meaning you need a big car to tow and to take the nose weight.:(
