Had one on my way home from work tonight, first in about 10/12 years so I suppose I was due a visit from the puncture fairy..
Changing a wheel by the side of the road, in the dark, in winter, is a greatly over-rated way of spending time in my opinion.
At least the Golf has a full sized spare (albeit steel rather than alloy) so no 30mph on a space saver shenanigans to worry about once it was fitted.
Found a dirty great screw stuck in the tread of the flat one which was undoubtedly the culprit but the tyre looks repairable - anyone know what that costs these days?
Bloody cars...
Cheers,
Plug
