Hey guys, looking to see if anyone can help me. If not , its cool il stop being lazy and register on a vauxhall forum.
But anyway....

I have the chance to get one of the above for mucho cheapness, and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them, or how much it could be worth?
Its an s reg with around 100k on the clock. :)

Thanks in advance.

They have a bad rep for ecu and electrical problems ..but nothing new there is there after all you own a fiat..;) just used a site for an exchange ecu for an astra diesel van ..same story on that car as well bad design flaw and the fuel pump ecu's crap out on them regularly..:bang: if you want the company name then PM me it gives common problems with the vectra electronics on there..(y)

engine are decent enough but as usual make sure the belts have been done
all gsi's are MSD so dont believe any limited edition stuff
what sort of price is it offered for?
market for tirsty motors is poor just now

£500 with a years mot.

depends, for £500 i would be tempted if i was running it but not to sell really
unless its really clean
no tax i i take it? so its really over £600
pm me some pics/info if you want

yeah no tax, is very tidy, and has all the msd extras - the seats are lovely.
I just thought it was alot of car for £500, but if theres no money in it i think il give it a miss.

Vauxhall's are the worst cars to loose their value, personally im not a fan of Vauxhall's because their so common and cheap, but like PNL said, they are known to fail on the ECU and electrics. My sister had a Vectra and kept dying... strange thing is then she bought an Astra... now there a bag of poop!... But if its just for a run around then thats different, but for long journeys id get an AA/RAC membership! lol

A mate has the gsi and the number of times the electronics failed ..well I ain't got enough fingers to count.. it failed once while approaching a zebra crossing and he lost power steering brakes the bloody lot and it took all his power to steer the car out of the path of a child that was crossing..Alaina your a great looking lass and I really want you to stay that way..;) give it a wide berth ..or take up weight lifting..

our 54plate v6 diesel model goes quite well and is still holding up inside at just over 100k, but you can feel the engine not just rattling.... but vibrating an awful lot... its like sitting in a masage chair below 10mph

:ROFLMAO:!!!

ok thanks guys! (y)

is it for sale cheap or are you just getting mates rates?

step dad rates... :p, he bought a jag and overlooked the selling the previous car part, now its taking up needed space, so he want me to get rid of it. I cuold either take a cut in the sale, or buy it for £500 and sell it myself. Hence trying to work out which option is best. :)
