help required for saxo front seats

The front drivers seat in my mrs saxo is loose, so it rocks.

On closer look its the rails that should be bolted to floor have come loose, this si the rail near the hand brake.

Now it looks really simple, two torx screws, but they wont budge, for tightening up or taking off, no matter how hard i try.

I been on a saxo forum to check how to do this and they guide they have looks like they should just unscrew.

Now i been trying for last hour to do this but cant get them to budge one iota either way

am i doing something wrong?

right took the three bolts out that were solid and the loose one i left in, but undid it slightly (socket set and leverage!)

this is where the fault is as the part of the floor that the runner bolts into, has come away, no signs of rust or anything, just looks like the welds failed.

should this have happened on a 52 plate 40k car?

it was a common problem on the ax, and the mk1 saxo, and the mk2 saxo, i would be surprised if the same issue doesnt appear on the C2.

so is this a known problem for citroen?

Are they likely to do this repair?

i wouldnt expect them to be willing to fix it for free or agree that it is a common problem.

not seen anything on the net that its a common problem.

Dealer tried to fob me off today saying its a used car the warranty doesnt continue between owners, so i called citroen whoo told me the dealer was being an arse and it needs inspecting by them and they are talking sh!t about it not being covered
