Very pleased and it only cost £75, next best price was £165 - and he did it the same day as I went. The scratch is "better" but not perfect. He estimates that to get the scratch removed properly would cost £1000 in work....The bumper scuff is non-existant :D

Special paint and hence would need basically the whole side of the car respraying just for the scratch - otherwise it would look stupid.

No, I never said it was a TVR?

It's a special paint which looks different silvers from different angles, from blue-silver to gold-silver and to green-silver and hence doing a single panel like a door will make it look stupid and not be a match. You can't fade it in on flat areas and can only use creases of the body work, which is what he did on the bumper. Accordingly, it would require most of the whole side of the body preparing and then spraying.

I didn't estimate £1000, the bloke doing the job for me estimated it....and considering that's his career, I will take his word for it, especially since the work he did for me was £100 cheaper than my next best prices.

save some of the money and get laid

I am not repairing it at that cost! I have had it flattened and it is barely there unless you are specifically looking at it and even then only in certain lights.

Now trying to find out why the air con leaks into the passenger footwell, once done I think the car is 100%....(he says with his wet hands ;)).

I thnk the drainage is blocked but am unsure yet how to unblock it.

Air con problem fixed, misaligned drainage hole :D It seems to be ok now but I imagine that it might misalign again but at least I know the problem :D

Dave: It's at an angle :( But all is good now, if I took a photo you would find it impossible to see anyway.
