well its not a Fiat, but its my Desert rat which gets me arround in AZ. it's a 1994 Jeep Wrangler with a modded engine which has been stroked up to a 4.6L used to have a turbo on it but was removed due to poor relibility. First car i ever owned, and i still own it. haha.

i have such happy memories of the wrangler. i used to drive one when i was 12, mostly off road, making the wrangler the second car i ever learnt to drive in. it was great fun standing in the back hanging onto the roll bar while rallying over dunes. i was always surprised how quick they are, i've never even owned a car that fast yet.

a bit er dangerous on tarmac though

seen a few offroadified v8 wranglers in action, and the thing itself was good in some places where a swb jobb was good, but it needed the locked (literally welded) diff's to get it thru, that and the 4,000ft mountain of torque they produce dragged it/bounced/riqociated over the rock garden

not mad keen on the styling, but for desert bashing I don't think it gets any better.

4.6 american V8 my guess is around 150bhp? :D

it's actually an inline6 stock they are 4.0L. 180BHP and 300FTlbs the finished product on the turbo was giveing out roughly 400 BHP and about 780 FTlbs torque. with the turbo off i put in high compression pistons. so the power droped down to about 300BHP and the torque to about 500. was still enough to pull off wheeles. when i move back state side my plans are to drop a 5.9L supercharged v8 in her. my end goals are 700+BHP and about 1000 torque. then she going to be on a trailer to transport her as im building her to kick the crap out of the otherhalfs familys "off road beasts" :D

Jug i know what you mean they dont look that fast. but damn they can't half shift. brings a smile too my face everytime i plant the happy peddle..

and faster4 they aint bad on tarmac if you know how to drive them. i can do things in that jeep that would make most ppl have a heart attack. how ever when i let my old man drive it, and he drives jags and the like. i almost had a heart attack. the only time i have ever truley been scared in it was with my dad driveing. and i myself have had that tub upto 140, and even that didnt scare me.
