Hello there. I have just purchased a 1938 topolino, well most of it anyway. I found you guys on a search engine and thought I would try you out.

Is my car too old for this forum? After looking around a bit, I didnt see any others.

Thanks and I will keep reading.

Jim

Its a fiat so all are welcome (y) can we have some pics I would love to see that car (y)

Thanks for the warm welcome.

One of the pics shows the fenders and headlights in a pile. They are in very nice condition. I wont be using them, so if your into old topolinos, here is a set of fenders you will most likely never find again. Let me know if your interested in them.

I think I will power it with a bit more horsepower than it came with stock. I'm thinking big block chevy.:D

The body I will keep as stock as possible. I dont want to go down in history as the one who wrecked the last one.

I do need a title though. If you know of one, let me know.

Classic! If its restored it might be worth a bit of $ :)

It might suprise you but with its popularity in the 60's as a drag racing car, it will be worth a bundle as a hot rod that is driven on the street. Restoration is not possible as all I have is the body. No frame, drivetrain or engine. Even the body has been cut up a bit. As a street rod it should be very cool.

Does anyone here even have one?
Love to talk to you.

Was the floorpan cut out when you had it, or is that something you've done yourself?

It does look in good nick for a near 70 year old shell anyway :)

Will a big block actually fit in the front end under the stock body panels?

The car came to me the way you see it. I have toned my plans down to a small block and yes it will fit with the inner fender wells removed. That is the way they did it in the 60's. The rest of the body is in pretty good shape, including the sunroof framework and hinges.
