Hi, Just registered on the site. (one of those jobs you never get around to doing). Anyway, Ive currently got a Seicento SX, after having had to get rid of my Cinquecento sporting. Ive had a few Fiats in my time, mainly Uno's, a Regatta(remember them!!) and the Cinq. The Sei seems ok so far, usual problems, rear wiper ( i'll look at that this weekend), handbrake needs adjusting etc....but it's got a cracking stereo, can't hear the potholes banging through the car!
Anyway, i'll probably be asking loads of questions at some point, so see you later......

Hello,

I pray someone can help me.

I have had my punto for 3 years now and have been fortunate enough to have relatively trouble free motoring.

However, recently I have had three problems these being:

1. my EOBD engine control has lit up vanished and now reappeared.
2. my handbrake light flashes on randomly when the handbrake isn't on
3. I ave just bought my first house and am incredibly poor so cant afford a decent mechanic.

Could anyone please suggest some solutions for me.

@ fuzzy; the brake light is probably low brake fluid check the resovoir as for the rest try posting in the punto section

It could be the slack in the cable on the handbrake. when the light flashes on, push the handbrake down as if you're releasing it. If the light goes off its that. Or the other way is if the light is on, poke the little switch under the handbrake and see if this turns it off
