Just thought I would say hello as a newbie on here. Found the forum from a link on Turbo Collective. Just bought a Mk1 Uno Turbo as seen in this thread - https://www.fiatforum.com/auction-watch/80456-green-grey-mk1-turbo.html Have wanted a Turbo since I started driving in '88 as a mate had one around this time whilst I was a humble student in a still excellent 55S.
Saw the car on Turbo Collective and decided to take a gamble. Put it straight into storage after collecting last weekend as I am halfway through building myself a 28' square garage to house all my toys. Currently drive a 2004 Vectra 3.2GSi and a Yamaha R1 powered Lotus 7 replica (448kg, 160bhp, 12500rpm
) and have a 1992 Clio 16v I have owned since '94 waiting to be caged up as a tarmac rally car and now the Uno to do.
All being well if the Uno is in good enough condition I plan a full restoration, colour change to red and eventually somewhere near to 200bhp.
