Hello everbody,, any ideas what this clutch problem could be,,,( w reg punto 1242cc petrol) punto started fine,,,i pulled away and found it hard to put in gear ( slight crunching sound) i drove a few hundred yards ,,, turned around and started to drive home,,, then i noticed ,,, when i released the clutch in 1st,, 2nd,, 3rd ,,4th,,, 5th,, even reverse ( reverse light comes on) it would not pull away,,, it seemed to be able to go into gear,,,, without even putting the clutch down ( engine running) it would not stall ,,, could this be down to hydraulics ( slave or master cylinder) there dont seem to be any leaks though,,, any ideas please help ??? sounds like its popped the gear connector so when you move the gearstick its not actually connected to the gearbox

Have you checked the linkage on top of gear box to see if it has come unattached if not seems like renewal of clutch would curer the problem?Just check your brake fluid resviouer it may be low hope this is some help good luck
