Hi everybody

I'm new here so am just saying hello. I have never owned a Fiat and have had mainly Fords and an old VW polo, but my first car was a Seat Marbella so I suppose that counts as a Fiat Panda, which was a great little car, regularly leaving 1.4 novas in a cloud of dust on country roads (until the straight bit of road anyway! :slayer: )

I'm all grown up now with a family (at 24) and I have been thinking about getting a Marea Weekend. I'm sick of people making 'x' signs at the thought of Fiats when all I can find is good reviews about the later cars.
I have narrowed my search to two, 1.6 SX models both on X plates.

I want to thank you all for this Forum as A) i was considering a 2.0 20v before doing some research here and finding out about the cambelt issues.
And B) i would have bought one with no red key before reading about it here,
so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!!!!! :)

the marea looks like a great value car, I mean air con,,,yippee, I never thought I would have a car with air con,,,maybe i have been deprived?
It'll be my first car with ABS as well! :worship:

ALLOYS

OK, so I have almost grown up, but I still want some alloys. But i have got some taste you know so forget Fox, wolfrace etc etc, I am no boy racer. The car I am looking at already has Dezent E's on with 60 profile tyres and looks like a monster truck so they have to go on ebay.

15" with 60 thick tyres looked nice and tight in the arches but wasn't rubbing.
But the tyres were just to big for the wheels.
What I want to know is will 16" alloys go on with 50 profile tyres, or do they want to be lower profile still? I'm after some of these....

eBayISAPI.dll

Will they go on? I haven't bought the car yet but i will get these now if they fit!

thanks (y)
