Hi All,
Googling for Fiat Stilo info, I should become a 1.6 Stilo Multiwagon Active Aircon owner in a few days time. Looking forward to that, I've been without wheels for a couple of weeks ... cracked cylinder head on the old bucket :eek: ... repairs not economical :mad: . A Fiat will be a new experience for me. ;)

My 98 156 V6 broke it's cam belt at 60000miles the damage was more than the value of the car:cry: so I sold it cheap to my brother-in-law who thinks he will rebuild it cheap.
So I went to the Alfa dealer looking for a GT, they didn't have one so went to leave and walked past this Fiat and liked it. I didn't know what it was so had a closer look. It was a 3dr Stilo and as I had only seen a 5dr ever I thought it looked different and liked it. Took it for a test drive and bought it. Once I bought it I thought I would look it up so went to see Mr Google and came accross this site.

It was mentioned on Danish Cuore Sportivo (Alfa Romeo) forum, and since I have a problem with the airbag light - like so many others, apparently! (n) - as well as the boot door lock/unlock mechanism, I went here to see if I could find some help on how to fix it without paying a fortune...

Good question!

I was driving home from the English Nationals at Watergate on Sunday and my trusty M reg Tipo 1.4 i.e.s fully threw it's teddy out the pram :bang: - chronic power loss - had to keep the rev's really high until it finally evened out! It got me home - 250 miles of mild concern later - once in the door I hit Yahoo! to see if I could get some techy advice before parts searching / scrapping. SOOOOO glad this site exists!! :worship: I'll post on the Tipo section for some advice soon. On reflection the car is pretty battered actually, the pipe has come off the back box and there is power steering fliud leaking onto the exhaust ++smoke when parking and I know its got three fault codes - hey ho! gotta laugh!

Christ knows, was about 4 years ago I joined, I refer you again to my member number of 223 :p

I think I had a problem with my mum's old Brava 1.8 so I probably searched the web (would have been google) - I can't remember if I found BOO at the same time or after finding FF.

But hey, I stuck around, who wouldn't? :D

i wanted to join one coz theres one for clios that all mi college mates are on and these forums are a rele good idea to share car experiences with othas and help them out

good ol' google, by accident, had probs with car, put symptoms in google and bought me here!
